Food Functions

  • Evening Reception on Sunday beginning at 6pm
  • Break food all day on Monday and Tuesday and until noon on Wednesday
  • Lunch on Monday, and Tuesday
  • Evening Reception on Tuesday beginning at 6:30pm
  • Closing Reception on Wednesday at 1pm

Travel

Delegates are responsible for their own registration, travel, accommodation and related costs and arrangements.

Attire

Dress for the conference will be informal business casual.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted in or near any conference area.

Conference Badges

Each registered attendee will receive a conference name badge. This badge must be worn at all times. Due to heightened security only attendees wearing official conference name badges will be admitted to conference functions and sessions.

Message Board

A message board is located near the Registration Desk.

Information Desk

There will be an information desk located near the registration area in the Pyle Center.

The Pyle Center is UWM’s distance education and technology center. It is one block north of Madison’s State Street, on the corner of Langdon Street and Lake Street. For those familiar with the campus area, The Pyle Center is next to the Red Gym and just east of the UW Memorial Union.

The American Society of Health Economists (ASHEcon) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in health economics research in the United States. ASHEcon is an affiliate of the International Health Economics Association (iHEA). ASHEcon provides a forum for emerging ideas and empirical results of health economics research.
