The American Society of Health Economists (ASHEcon) is a professional organization dedicated to promoting excellence in health economics research in the United States. ASHEcon provides a forum for emerging ideas and empirical results of health economics research. ASHEcon is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of a highly-distinguished group of health economists from across the nation. The major activity through which ASHEcon achieves its mission is conducting a biennial meeting. Since the biennial conference has been a great success, ASHEcon has decided to make the conference an annual event going forward. ASHEcon’s annual conference attracts about 1,000 participants for 180 sessions across three days of meetings in the month of June.
